Chapter 11


They arrived at the bar that evening. Chun searched for Calvin among the crowd, then he found him by the bar with Bianca. “There's the devil.” Chun said, pointing at Calvin's direction. Aira looked at him, and just seeing her boyfriend flirting again makes the steam come out of her head. At that moment, she wanted to go over there and strangle the girl. “You're really going to get it this time, Calvin Chen....” she mumbled. As she made a step forward, both Arron and Chun stopped her. “Not here, Ai. Keep your cool...” Arron whispered to her. “Seems to me Calvin wants Aira to be really jealous... why don't you give that guy a dose of his own medicine?” Jiro said. The three looked at him. “For the first time, Jiro, you said something logical...” Chun said. While Aira and Arron were laughing, Jiro just rolled his eyes at them. “I'll leave you here. My girls might be waiting for me.” Jiro said, then he left the three.

“So you think, Calvin just wanted to make you jealous?” Arron asked. Aira just shrugged. “I'm not sure what's going on in that big brain of his. But as Jiro said, maybe it's about time to give him a dose of his own medicine.” Aira said. Then she looked at Chun, and held him by the arms. “Act as my date. When we get there, be really sweet to me... like a boyfriend.” she said, winking at her. Arron was alarmed at what he heard. Chun? Date? Sweet? Boyfriend? Again. Boyfriend? “What?!” Arron exclaimed. “What boyfriend?” he asked again. Aira gave him a startled look. “Why? You won't mind, wouldn't you? Anyway, we're just acting here...” she assured him. It was easy for her to read Arron's mind. He's jealous, that's for sure. “Yeah... just acting... yeah, yeah...” Arron said in a more calm tone, nodding his head. But then again, he's not comfortable with that idea. “OK, let's go and see the bastard.”Chun said.

“You really have nice hands, Bianca...” Calvin said as he held Bianca's hand. Bianca smiled at Calvin. “Thank you... I never thought you could be such a sweet talker...” she said. Sure, he was enjoying Bianca's company, but he still wished he's spending the night with Aira. Just then, he saw Aira, Chun and Arron approaching them. Calvin smirked. “It's show time!” he thought.

“Hey Calvin.” Aira said, giving him dagger looks. Calvin looked up at her, he smiled, but the smile faded when he saw Chun's arm around her. “Hey, Aira.” he said, smirking at her. He could tell, Aira saw him holding Bianca's hand. “Ah... at talagang magkaholding hands pa kayo ah...” she thought. “I have introduced Bianca to you, right?”
“Yeah, you already did.”
“And so I see Chun's your date tonight, huh?”
“Yeah... I see you're enjoying Bianca's company huh?”
“Yeah, and it seems to me you're enjoying Chun's company as well.”

Pause.

Chun, Arron and Bianca could already feel the tension building between the two. “What's wrong with them?” Bianca thought. “Easy, Aira...” Chun thought. “Waaahhhh! Take your hands off MY Chun!!!” Arron thought. Then, Arron paused. “OK... OK... what the hell am I thinking?” he thought again. Chun smiled at Calvin, as he pulled Aira closer to him, then kissed her on the... well... you really want to know where? (Churon and cupcake fans, please don't kill me...) Chun just kissed Aira on the lips. Everyone was shocked at what Chun did, especially Aira. And most especially, Calvin. And most especially, Arron, who is still on the state of shock. “What the hell did you do? No! Why did you do it, baobei?” Arron thought. Then, realizing just what he's thinking, Arron shook his head. “I... uh... I need a drink. Waiter!” Arron said, as he walked at the other side of the bar.

Meanwhile, when Calvin saw Chun kissing his girlfriend, he wanted to punch his friend on the face. “So, we'll see you around Calvin.” Chun said. Then, he looked at Aira and smiled at her. “Let's go, baby.” he said, then the two left Calvin and Bianca alone. “Baby? Baby? That's my pet name for her!” Calvin thought. He didn't know what just happened between them while he's gone, but one thing's for sure. Chun's not going to get away with this. Aira is his, and she will always remain to be his girl. “Are you alright, Calvin?” Bianca asked in a worried tone. Calvin faked a smile at her and nodded his head. “I'm OK.” he said. Bianca smiled back at him. “Want to dance?”
“Sure!”

“Have you seen the look on his face when I kissed you?” Chun said between laughs. They settled at the counter at the bar at the other side of the club. Aira was still shocked from his kiss. Chun noticed this, so he snapped his finger at Aira's face. “You were saying something?” Aira asked. Chun gave her a seductive smile, he moved his face closer to her. “Am I a better kisser than Calvin?” he asked in a husky tone. Aira could only swallow hard. True enough, Chun is way better kisser that Calvin. She was about to say something, when someone interrupted them. “Hey!” The looked back, and saw Arron approching them. He was holding a glass of wine, and they could tell he's already tipsy. “Hey, Arron!” Aira said. Chun looked at him sternly, then he took the wine glass from his hand. “You know pretty well that you can't tolerate much of alcohol!” He said in a worried tone. Arron just smiled at Chun. “This is just my second glass of wine...” he answered back. Then, Aira took the wine glass from Chun's hand and gulped down its content. “Wei! Chun! You should've stopped her! She's the one who couldn't handle alcohol!” Arron said. Chun took the glass from Aira. “Aira! And you finished it down?” Chun asked in disbelief. Aira smiled at him. “It's just one glass...” she said defensively.

“Have you seen Jiro?” Aira asked Arron. He nodded his head. “Saw him with his Japanese groupie... they went back to the hotel.” he explained. Aira suddenly started laughing. “Ooooohhh someone's gonna get laid!” she said, giggling. Her cheeks were already red. Arron turned to Chun. “Told you, you should've stopped her... I think she's already drunk.” Arron said. “Help me, let's take her back to their hotel room...” Chun said. “No... no, no, no... we're already here so let's party!” she said. She took their hands, and stood up from her seat. She was about to pull them to the dancefloor, but she paused when she something heart breaking. She saw Bianca and Calvin dancing, Bianca was gyrating onto Calvin. She saw her whispering something to Calvin, and Calvin laughed. She saw as he put his arm around her and they danced to the music. It really seems that Calvin's enjoying Bianca's company. Besides, she knows Calvin like those types of girls – pretty, sexy, long haired – unlike her who's chubby, short haired and plain looking.

“Oh...” she muttered. She let go of Chun and Arron's hand. Chun and Arron also saw that scene, and they were worried that Aira would make a scene right there and then. They saw Aira retreat back to the bar, she called the waiter and ordered a glass of wine. “Hey.. Aira... stop it. You get drunk easily.” Arron said in a worried tone. “Please, just let me do this now... let me drink win just for tonight...” she said in a low voice. They could see her tears starting to fall from her eyes. Chun and Arron looked at each other, With just a look, they both agreed to let Aira do whatever she wants to do. Anyway, as a friend, they have to support her. They can only watch her as she gulp down the wine, and console her.

“It's too crowded here... let's go out?” Bianca suggested to Calvin. Calvin nodded his head, then they headed outside the bar. They strolled at the beach. Then, Bianca held Calvin's hand. “I can't believe I'll be going home tomorrow...” she said in a sad voice. “Just when I'm enjoying this vacation, I had to go back to Manila and work...”
“I'll be going back to Taiwan in two days as well...” Calvin said. Bianca looked up at him. “So, did you enjoy your vacation?” she asked. Calvin nodded his head. “I did, because I met you... if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be enjoy my stay here, but...” he paused. He thought of Aira, and suddenly, he felt guilty for not spending much time with her. He suggested that they have this vacation because he wanted to spend more time with her, but with Chun and Arron around, seems that her attention turned to the two. He thought that making her jealous would make her pay attention to him, but it backfired. He just wished that before their vacation ends, he could be with Aira for the whole day. He knows he'llo be really busy when they go back home, and he wants to make up with his girl for the times he's not with her.

“I'm glad that I met you too, Calvin...” he heard Bianca say. Calvin looked at her. “I know this is too soon, but I really like you. A lot.” she continued. Then, she reached up at him, and kissed him on the lips.

“I told you, you shouldn't have drank the whole bottle of wine.” Arron said to Aira as they carried her outside the club. “I wash able to thake it, didn't I?” she slurred. “I wash able to jrink a bottle of wine! Sheesh!” she continued. “But look at you? I bet tomorrow you'll have a huge hangover.” Chun said. Aira looked up at him, and pouted. “I tsold you... I can tsaaaaake it. OK, bossh?” she said, smiling like an idiot.

Aira then stopped walking, then began to vomit. Arron and Chun just rubbed her back to make her feel better. “I tsink I vomitted on your shoesh, bossh...” Aira said to Chun. Chun shook her head. “It's OK. You can clean it before we leave for Taiwan.” he said. As Aira stood up, She stared at the beach and saw a couple kissing. “Hey! Look at thoshe two! They're making out!” she said giggling. Chun and Arron looked at where she was pointing, and they were surprised to see who the guy was – it was Calvin. “Oh, nuts... It''s Calvin!” Arron exclaimed. “Calvin?” Aira asked Arron. She looked at the couple again, and this time, she saw Calvin's face more clearly. “Yeah.... it's Calvin...” she said in a low voice. She lowered her head, trying not to show them the tears that's about to fall from her eyes. “Are you all right?” Chun asked in a worried tone. Aira looked up at him, and shook her head, then she ran towards the hotel. Chun and Arron followed her.

Calvin pulled away from Bianca's kiss. He was just being friendly with Bianca, and he never thought that Bianca wouldn fall for him. He just have to tell her the truth – that he's already committed to someone. “Bianca... I... I'm sorry...” Calvin said in a low voice. Bianca gave him a confused look. “Don't you like me, Calvin?” she asked.“I like you, Bianca... but as a friend...” he said in a low voice. Bianca turned her gaze away from him. “I'm sorry if you got it the wrong way, Bianca... the truth is... I already have a girlfriend. And she's Aira.” he explained.

Just then, he felt someone tap him on the shoulder, He looked around, then suddenly, he felt someone punch his face. He fell on the sandy ground, then he looked up at the guy who punched him. Bianca immediately ran to the guy's side and stopped him from hurting Calvin further. “Jim, stop it!” she shouted at him. “Yan ba? Yan ba ang ipapalit mo sa kin, ha?” he heard the guy shouted. He just looked at the guy dumbly, unable to understand a word he's saying. “Eh di pinansin mo rin ako? Since dumating tayo dito puro surfing na lang iniintidi mo! Di mo ako pinapansin!” he heard Bianca shout at the guy.

Calvin stood up from the ground. “What's going on?” he asked Bianca. The guy was about to attack him again, but Bianca blocked him. “Bastard! Why are you flirting with my girlfriend?” he shouted at him. “Stop it Jim! Let me explain, OK?” Bianca shouted. Then, she turned her attention to Calvin. “Calvin, I'm really sorry if I used you... I just wanted my boyfriend to pay attention to me that's why I flirted with you. I'm really really sorry...” she said apologetically. Calvin was surprised at what she said. “You too?” he asked. “Actually I was the one who was supposed to say sorry to you because I used you to make Aira jealous... I'm sorry...” he said.

The guy looked surprised at the two. He pulled Bianca to face him. “Ibig sabihin, pinagseselos mo lang ako?” the guy asked. Bianca nodded her head. The guy then turned to Calvin and put his hand on his shoulder. “Man, I'm really sorry...”
“It's OK... no harm done.”
“Calvin, I think you should go after Aira. I saw her a while ago with your friends, and she seems drunk.” Bianca said. Calvin nodded his head, and then he ran back to the hotel.

Calvin was walking back to their room, when he saw Chun approaching him. He could see the anger in Chun's eyes. Then, Chun ran towards him, then he held him to his collar and cornered him on the wall. “Chun! Stop it!” they heard Arron shouted. Chun clenched his fist. Calvin's eyes widened, he have never seen Chun this mad before. He saw his fist about to hit him, he closed his eyes, awaiting for his punch. When he couldn't feel any pain, he opened his eyes, and saw that Chun punched the wall instead. “How could you?” Chun hissed at him. Arron held on to Chun, and pulled him away from Calvin. “Chun, stop this.” Arron said, hugging him from behind. “I though you changed. I thought you love Aira. How could you hurt her?” Chun shouted at him. “Let me explain...”
“What is there to explain? You broke Aira's heart, and she's crying her eyes out because of you!” Chun said. “Chun, stop this. Let's leave Calvin first. Aira needs us now...” Arron said. Chun looked at Arron and and nodded his head. Before they left, he threw dagger looks at Calvin. “Chun...” Calvin called. “How... Can I see Aira?” he asked. “Cal, it would be better if she won't see you...” Arron said in a low voice.

Chun let Aira sleep on their room that night, while he and Arron decided to sleep at the living room. They could tell Aira's still awake, as they could still hear her crying. “Do you think they'll get back together?” Arron asked Chun. Chun just shrugged. “Calvin should ready his best explanation for his actions...” Chun said. Arron looked up at him. “Chun... can I ask you something?” he asked. Chun nodded his head. “Are you... Do you still like Aira?” he asked. Chun shook his head. “I admit, I like her before. But she already chose Calvin, so I had to give way. Now, I only see her as a friend.” he explained. Arron sighed with relief upon hearing that. “But do you like someone?” he asked again. Chun nodded his head. “I'm starting to like someone... but the problem is, I don't think that person likes me as well...”

Arron swallowed hard. This got him alarmed. “So, he's got eyes for someone..” he thought. “How about you? Do you like someone?”
“Uh.... no...”
It was Chun's turn to sigh with relief. He thought that there was something between him and Petty. Then, there was an awkward silence between them. “Hey, would you like some food? I'm hungry...” Arron asked. Chun looked at him and nodded his head. Arron stood from his seat, then headed to the fridge. He got some sandwiches, then went back to the living room. As he headed back to the couch, he tripped on the foot of the coffee table, which made him lose balance. Before he knew it he was already lying on top of Chun on the couch, their lips brushed against each other (in short, they kissed OK?). Both of them were surprised at what happened. They stayed on that position even after they kissed, the gazing at each other's eyes. “I could get lost in his eyes forever... wait what am I thinking?” Chun thought. “Uh... what the hell am I doing? I should get off of him right? But this felt good...” Arron thought.

“Ehem” they heard someone say. They both looked at the bedroom door and saw Aira standing. Arron immediately got off of Chun. “It's not what you're thinking...” Chun said. Aira just raised an eyebrow at him. “OK, whatever it is, it's none of my business anyway.” Aira said. The two watched her as she hogged all the ice cream on the fridge, then headed back to their room. “Is it possible that she saw us kissing?” Arron thought. “Uhmmm... you know what, I need some fresh air.” Chun said. Then, he stood up from the couch and left their room.

Chapter 12


Calvin was strolling at the beach that night. He badly wanted to talk to Aira, but Chun and Arron didn't let him. He knows his actions have hurt her, and he wants to make up to her. As he was walking, he saw Chun coming to his direction. “Hey...” he said, smiling faintly at him. “And I thought you came back to your room.” Chun said. “You know very well I can't sleep without Aira beside me...”
“So you're planning to stay up the whole night?”
“No, actually I'm planning how to commit suicide if Aira still won't talk to me...”

Chun just laughed at what he said. “You said you want to explain. I'm ready to listen now.” Chun said to him. Calvin looked at him and smiled. “I'm just making Aira jealous...” he began. “We decided to go on this trip because I want to make up for all the times that I wasn't there for her. I thought we could be alone for a few days, but then she told me Jiro would tag along. Though it's against my will, I just let her do whatever she wants. Then, when we saw you and Arron here, I knew she would pay less attention to me because -” Calvin paused. He was about to blurt Aira's crazy idea about Chun and Arron, but he's scared that if he does, Chun would actually kill him. Chun gave him a confused look. “You're still jealous with me all this time, right?” Chun asked. “You thought Aira would leave you for me, am I correct?”
“W-well... yeah.. Yeah. That's it.” Calvin lied. “God, if you only knew that Aira wants to follow you to prove that there's something going on between you and Arron...” he thought. “If you do love Aira, you just have to trust her. She loves you too much, and I know she's scared to lose you. As for me, I only see Aira as my friend, as my little sister.” Chun explained.

They were in the middle of their conversation, when they saw Jiro running towards them. “Help!” they heard him shout. “Hey, Jiro... what' wrong?” he asked. Jiro panted as soon as he reached his friends. “Hide me... from... those... girls...” he said between breath. Calvin looked at Chun, confused at what Jiro is saying. “Which girls?” he asked him. “Probably his Japanese groupie...” Chun said. Then, Chun turned to Jiro. “What happened?” he asked. “Those... girls... they... won't... stop... they... took... away... all... my... energy...” Jiro said. Chun and Calvin just laughed at what he said. “And I thought you were happy to get laid by five beautiful Japanese girls...”Chun said. Calvin looked with disbelief at the two. “Five? Wow, Jiro...” Calvin said, laughing and shaking his head. Then, Jiro held Calvin's hand, and gave him puppy looks. “Cal... hide me please? I don't want those girls to take my youth away!” he said in an exaggerated tone. “Fine, fine... I'll hide you. But first...” he said, looking at Chun. “I have to see Aira. If that would be OK with Chun.”

The three arrived in Chun and Arron's room to find a waiter with a cart filled with sweets, pastries and a very very very VERY big bowl of ice cream. Arron was standing by the door as he received it. “I didn't know Arron loves sweets...” Jiro said. Arron looked at Jiro and shook his head. “It's Aira's, actually.” he explained. Jiro's eyes widened (again, about to pop out) when he learned about that. “Whoa! What an appetite!” he exclaimed. “Aira's pretty much like Chun. When she's upset, she craves for sweets and a big bowl of ice... cream....” Calvin said. Wait. So Aira is really upset about me, he thought. “Arron, can I see Aira?” he asked.

Before Arron could speak, Aira popped out at his side. “No, you can't see me...” Aira said sarcastically. Calvin smiled at his girl “Too late, I can see you...” he said. He laughed a little, but stopped upon seeing that Aira's not too happy about seeing him. “Baby... let me explain...” he said in a low voice. Aira just ignored him. “Is this my order?” Aira asked Arron. The latter just nodded his head. She took the cart inside the room, still ignoring Calvin. Calvin followed her. “Baby...” he called, but Aira acted as if she didn't hear her. Aira entered the bedroom, and when Calvin was about to enter the room, she immediately closed the door. His three friends looked at him, shaking their head. “Whatever it is that you've done, man, you really pissed her off.” Jiro said to Calvin. Calvin sighed, and lowered his head. “You're right...” he said in a low voice. “Maybe she can't forgive me... maybe she'll break -”
“Don't say that! We'll think of ways so that the two of you could get together. Right guys?” Jiro said, looking at Arron and Chun. The two just nodded their head. Calvin smiled faintly at them. “Thanks...” he said. Then, he looked at Chun. “By the way, Chun. I was supposed to punch you for kissing Aira a while ago... if you give me a good explanation and if you think of a good idea, I'll let you off the hook.”

The next morning, Chun, Jiro and Calvin were having breakfast at the restaurant. They were already brainstorming on how Calvin could talk to Aira. “Remind me again how the two of you got together?” Jiro asked. Calvin gave him dagger looks. “This is not the time to reminisce, Jiro.” he said. “Wait, I think I got what Jiro wanted to suggest. If you would woo her the way you wooed her before, maybe she'll come around...” Chun said. Calvin gave him a startled look. “So... I should propose to her again?” he asked. Jiro shook his head. “That won't work... I forgot... you didn't do anything special when you proposed to her.” he said in between bites. Calvin dropped his fork, and leaned on his seat. “This is harder than I thought...” he said.

Just then, Arron came. “Have you think of an idea yet? You guys should hurry up, you know.” Arron said as soon as he sat beside Chun. “Why? What's wrong with Aira?” Calvin asked. “She just ordered her fifth bowl of super big bowl ice cream.” Arron explained. “Wei? She eats like a pig!” Jiro said in between laugh. Calvin just glared at him, then he stopped laughing. They were silent for a while, when Jiro suddenly thought of an idea. “Hey, why don't you serenade her? You know... she told me about this tradition they have. I think it's called Ha...Ha... Ha La Man...” (as in halaman?) Jiro said. Arron looked up at Jiro, and then nodded. “Yeah! Ha La Man. Whatever that is. Serenade her.” he second the motion. Calvin gave them a doubtful look. “Ha La Man? Never heard of that...” he said. Meanwhile, Chun was just laughing at what they were saying. “Wei! Whats funny, Wu Chun?” Jiro asked. “It's not Ha La Man. It's plant in Filipino. The correct term is 'Harana'” he said. The three said ahhh in unison and nodded in unison.

“OK, I can serenade her. But what song?” Calvin asked. “Don't you two have a theme song or anything?” Arron asked. Calvin just shook his head. “OK, which of our song is Aira's favorite?” Chun asked. “Hmmm... Bu Zi Shi Mi.” Calvin said. Then, Jiro began to sing the chorus, but stopped, realizing it's not a love song. “Anything else? How can Bu Zi Shi Mi be used to serenade a girl? It's not a love song...” he said. Calvin scratched his chin and think of another song. “Chu Shen Ru Hua...” he said. Again, Jiro sang the chorus and stopped “Again, man.. it's not a love song.” he said. “Bu Hui Ai?” Calvin asked again. This time, Arron sang the chorus. “Ni Bu Hui Ai Wo De Ai Wo Ming Bai... wait, she's not willing to love you?” he asked. Calvin smiled devilishly at them. “Actually, it's our make out song...” he said. The three coughed, unable to believe what they heard from their friend. (A/N – Yuck ha... make out song talaga...)

Just then, Jiro's phone rang. He took it from his pocket, and answered it. “Wei? Danson!” Jiro said. Upon hearing Danson's name, Chun had an idea. “Wait... Danson... didn't he sang something from The X-Family soundtrack?” he asked. “Wait... yeah... Zui Ai Hai Shi Ni! Maybe that could work!” Arron said. Chun nodded his head. “And maybe you can also sing her a Filipino song...” Chun suggested. Calvin scratched his chin again and smiled at his friends. “That's a good idea...” he said. Then, he looked at Chun and smirked. “And because of that brilliant idea, I'll spare you your life, Chun.”

As soon as they laid out their plan, Chun and Arron went back to their room, to find Aira still in her pajamas. She was still eating her bowl of ice cream, and was lughing and crying at some chick flick she's watching on TV. “Ai... have you took a bath?” Chun asked. Aira shook her head. “And until when are you planning to sulk? Remember, we will go back to Taiwan tomorrow. You can't possibly skip work... I need you...” Arron said. “As soon as we arrive in Taiwan, I'll break up with Calvin...” Aira said, already sobbing. Arron was shocked when he looked at Chun, but Chun kept his cool and just winked at him. “Oh, so you have decided then...” Chun said as he sat beside her. Then, he held his hand. “Then, will you choose me this time?” he asked. Airas eyes popped out upon hearing what he said. She then looked at Arron,, who was as shocked as he is. “What?! What are you saying, Chun?” Arron's mind shouted. He can't be serious, right? “Chun... I...” before Aira could speak any further, he put a finger on her lips. “It's good that you have come to your senses, Aira. I know it has always been me that you liked... and I still like you. I just want to give us a chance this time...” he said.

Aira swallowed harder. “Patay... lagot ako kay Arron...” she thought. “Can.. can you give me more time to think?” she asked. Chun nodded his head. “But can we go out on a date today? I want this day to be a start of something wonderful between us...” he said. Aira slowly nodded her head. Then, Chun pulled her from the the bed, and pushed her to the bathroom. “Now, get ready for our date!” he said before he closed the bathroom door.

“OK, what's that all about?” Arron asked, crossing his arms as he looked at him. Again, Chun winked at him. 'This is the only way we could make her go out. Trust me.”

Chun brought Aira to a tree house near the beach. “Wow... this one's beautiful...” she said. Chun smiled at her. “I knew you would like it.” he said. Then, he escorted Aira up the tree house. From the top, she could see how beautiful the scenery is. “I wish Calvin could see this too...” she thought. “Something wrong?” Chun asked. Aira looked up at him and shook her head. Chun then held her hand. “Aira...”
“Chun, whatever it is.. please don't say it. The truth is, I... I'm still confused. Everything just happened all of a sudden...”
“I can give you more time, I'm willing to wait, Aira.”
“But Chun...”

Chun paused, and stared into her eyes. “You still love Calvin?” he asked. Aira slowly nodded her head. “Even though he cheated on me... yes I still do...” she said in a low voice. Chun smiled at her. “If I tell you that Calvin did that because he want you to be jealous so that you could pay more attention to him?” he asked. “Well, it's a very stupid way to grab my attention.” she said. Chun nodded in agreement. Aira looked outside the window, and from afar, she saw Jiro, Arron and Calvin. Jiro was playing his guitar, and then he heard Calvin sing.

By the time Calvin finished his song, Aira's eyes were already filled with tears. Just then, Jiro started to play another song.

Aira was laughing when Calvin was trying to sing that Filipino song. It was one of her favorite songs, and she used to sing it to him. She remembered the first time he sang it to him, Calvin said it was beautiful, even thought he can't understand it. He asked what the song means, but she told him to learn Tagalog so that he could understand it.

“So, do you forgive Calvin now?” Chun asked. Aira looked at him and nodded her head. “You know what, he was unable to sleep last night, thinking of ways how you could forgive him. Why don't you go down and give your cupcake a hug?” Chun said. Aira nodded her head and hurried down the tree house.

“Do you think Aira liked what I did?” Calvin said as soon as he stopped singing. Jiro tapped his shoulder, and smiled at him. “I'm sure she is moved.” Jiro said.. Just then, they saw Aira coming down from the tree house. Aira walked towards Calvin, smiling at him. “You know what, it's a bad idea to make me jealous just to get my attention.” Aira said. Calvin nodded his head. “It backfired somehow...”
“Promise me you're not going to do anything to hurt me again...”
Calvin raised his right hand and nodded his head. “I promise, baby.” he said. Then, Aira gave her boyfriend a hug. “Wo Ai Ni, Aira..” Calvin whispered to her. Aira looked up at him and smiled. “Ai Ni...” she answered. Calvin gave her a kiss on the lips. “Awwww...” Chun, Arron and Jiro said in unison. Calvin looked at the three and smirked at them. “You're just jealous. Go find a partner.” he said. “And go get a room, you two!” Arron said. Calvin looked at his girlfriend again and hugged her tight.

“I think we should leave the two alone. They need quality time together.” Chun said, stressing on the word “quality”. Calvin just stuck out his tongue at him. Then, the three left, leaving the two alone. “What do you want to do, baby?” Calvin asked. Aira just smiled at him. “I just want you for myself the whole day, cupcake...”

The next morning...

The sun's rays entered their room. Calvin slowly opened his eyes, and the first person he saw is Aira sleeping peacefully beside him. He smiled to himself. He felt like the luckiest man alive for having Aira beside him. He watched as she sleeps, he brushed the strand of hair falling from her face so that he could see her angelic face. “I love you...” he whispered to her. Then, he moved closer to her, and planted a kiss on her lips. Then, Aira's eyes slowly opened. She smiled upon seeing Calvin smiling at him. “Good morning...” she said. “You're just like sleeping beauty... you awoke as soon as I kissed you...” he said. This made her giggle. Calvin pulled her closer to him, and embraced her tight He was about to kiss her again, when he heard the door open. “Good morning!” he heard Chun, Arron and Jiro shouted. Calvin sighed with disappointment, of all the times they would barge into their room. Calvin let go of Aira and sat up from the bed. He took a pillow and threw it at them. The three just laughed at him. “Oooohhh... lover boy just got pissed off!” Jiro said in between laugh. “Hey, you should thank us, Calvin. We'll be late for our flight if the two of you do something else...” Chun said, still laughing. “I think they're right. We should get ready for our flight.” Aira said.

After a few hours, the five took the boat that will bring them to the main port of the city. “Aiyo... cant believe vacation's over!” Jiro said as they got on the boat. “At least you had fun with your groupie, right?” Aira said winking at him. Meanwhile, Chun and Arron followed behind them. Chun noticed that Arron had a hard time carrying his bags. “Here, let me help you...” Chun said as he took the bag from his hand. As he held it, their fingers touched. They felt electricity running across this skin. The two stared at each other. “What is this that I'm feeling?” Chun asked himself. “Uhmmm... I... I can carry this. Thanks, Chun.” Arron said. Chun let go of his hand, and nodded his head.

What they didn't know is that Calvin was secretly watching them. “Aira's right...” he thought. “Something is going on...” He looked at his girlfriend who was busy annoying Jiro. “Guess I have to find out about it...”
