Chapter 1

First meet
"Oh my GOD!!!" Ella screamed. "Will you please stop screaming Ella!!" Calvin said.
"I’m just happy we got a job" Ella exclaimed "Don’t Be for sure our job is so hard." Calvin answered. "Yeah your right But we can do it!!!" Ella agreed. Calvin just laughed.

Tian’s residence:
MONDAY MORNING:

"KRINGGGGGGGG" Hebe’s alarm clock ring. "Ugh!!!" Hebe groaned and she shot her purple alarm clock. Then her personal maid went to her room to wake her up. Her room was full of purple stuff. Purple bed sheet, chair, curtains, all stuff are purple. She loves purple. "Miss Hebe wake up!!!" The maid said. “Just 5 more minutes" Hebe answered lazily. "YOU GONNA BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!!!" the maid said. "OMG!!! SCHOOL I FORGOT ALL ABOUT IT!!!" Hebe screamed. The maid just laughed.Hebe always forgot about school
"Miss your bathroom is ready,your hot water was already in the tub." "OK! Thanks!!!" Then she went to her bathroom. And the maid left her room. After she take bath she went to the kitchen to eat her breakfast."Master Chun will fetch you today" the maid said. "Thanks." Hebe said to the maid. Then the maid left her.
"It’s look delicious." Came a masculine voice behind her. Hebe turned around in fright.
"Who?"
"Hi." Chun replied coolly as he leaned against her wall. "Chun don’t ever do that again" she said.
"OK! I’m sorry.Are you ready?" Chun said.
"Yup I’m ready." Then they left the kitchen.
"BYE GUYS! SEE YOU LATER!" Both of them said.
"OK Young MASTER AND MISS! TAKE CARE." The maid said.

Chen’s residence:
"Ella we going to be late!" Calvin shouts
"Ok! I’m Already finish!" Ella Answered. They went to the Bus stop. And they ride to the bus.

SCHOOL:

"OMG!!! Is this a school?"Ella asked. While Calvin’s jaw drop. And after a few minutes they came back to their senses.
"Yeah this is it." Calvin answers Ella’s Question. They saw many cars and students that had their own car. After a few minutes an old man approaches them.
"Excuse me .Are you the new Staff here?" the old man asked. "Yeah! We are the new staff." Calvin answered. "Oh so what’s your name?" the old man asked. "Hi! I’m Ella and this is my twin brother Calvin." "Oh! So I’m the vice principal here you can call me Mr. Hong."
"OK."Both of them answered.
"So walk around first here for 15 minutes. Then I will meet you in school Cafeteria."
"OK! Thank you Mr. Hong." Calvin said. And Mr. Hong left them. Ella and Calvin look around the school first and they went to the Parking lot. Calvin saw a beautiful girl. Ella saw Calvin staring to a girl.
"OMG! She’s so beautiful" he thought.
"She’s pretty HUH?" Ella asked.
"Yeah" Calvin answered.
"Wait what huh?"
"GOTCHA. Cal." Ella said.
"What?" Calvin asked.
"Cal I saw you staring to Hebe." Ella said.
"Yeah so what??? Wait. what you know her?" Calvin asked. "YUP! Who doesn’t know her she’s really popular in Whole TAIWAN. Her parents are the owner of this school" Ella said. Hebe saw them.She just smiled at them. Ella saw this so he nudges her brother at his arm. "OUCH!!!" Calvin said. Then he saw Hebe smiled at them so he smiled at Hebe to. Chun saw that Hebe smiling to a stranger. SO he grab Hebe’s wrist and walk to the school building.

"Chun I can walk by my self." Hebe said. "OPPSS!!! Sorry" Chun apologizes "What’s your problem?" "I saw you smiling to a stranger." "I’m just being friendly that’s all" "BEING FRIENDLY WHAT IF THEY DO BAD THINGS TO YOU? WHAT WILL YOU DO?" Chun asked. "UHMMM… ALL RIGHT DAD YOU WIN."Hebe answered. "GOOD!!Wait what do you called me?" "DAD" Hebe answered. "Hebe!!" Chun said "OPPSS!!! I’m just kidding."Hebe said.And then the bell rung "ok I’m going now bye Chun." Hebe said.
"bye!" he said.

Chapter 2

School and Job sucks!!!
Hebe went to class and she was surprised to see how full it was. Then she spotted an open seat at the back of the room. Hebe walked over and took a seat. She looked around the room as all the guys kept staring at her. All but one.
Hebe remembered the cute guy from the parking lot. The thought made her heart pound louder. Hebe suddenly felt warm and she turned away. If she kept looking, she might touch him and she didn't want to do that.

Calvin was so lost in his book to noticed anything. He had just borrowed it yesterday from the library.

Ella noticed that Hebe was sitting on the other side of Calvin and she wanted to help her brother.
"Hey... Cal... let me see your book." Ella beg.
Calvin knew something was up. He ignored her, never would you find Ella near a book other than the school text books.
"Please!! Come on!" Ella said snatching the book away.
Calvin turned to face her and Ella only smile. She kept pointing over his shoulder and Calvin looked confused.
Ella finally gave up and turned his face around.

Calvin saw the girl from the parking lot and he swore she had already stolen his heart. The more he looked at her, the more he adored her.
Calvin could'nt take his eyes off her. It was only until Hebe looked at him that he looked away embarrassed.
Hebe thought it was so cute the way he blushed.

Then the teacher came in and everyone stood up to greet the teacher.
"You all may sit down." He said.

Through out the rest of the class, Calvin kept stealing glances at her, and Hebe was doing the same to him. When their eyes meet, they would both blush and look away.

Ella on the other hand kept falling asleep. Calvin had to poke her to keep her awke.

Ella and Calvin got dressed in their work clothes and headed out to take kid's orders. This was a super rich school, so the lunch room looked more like a fancy restuant than as actual lunchroom. There was many tables with dark red table cloth and beautiful hand carved chairs to match. The room was not as bright and the enviroment was more like a romantic feel.

Chun sat with a few friends while Hebe was at another table. But still, Chun kept a close eye on her.

"What would you like?" Ella asked holding her notepad in hand.
Chun remembered her well from this morning and something crept into his head. He smiled at the thought and Ella just stared at him like he was stupid.
"I asked you what you wanted!" Ella said growing tired.
"Do you offer something other than food?!" Chun smirk and the rest of his friends started laughing.
"Excuse me?!" Ella had already set down her notebook and was about to punch this guy.
Chun was still laughing and Ella only got more mad.
"JERK!" Ella snapped making people turn to look.

Calvin noticed all the comotion and followed Ella over to the table.
"What's wrong?" Calvin asked in a whispering voice.
"Freakin jerk wants to start something!" Ella said loudly.
Calvin knew Ella was no good at these types of things.
"How about you go serve another table and I'll take care of this one?" Calvin said pushing Ella away.
"How about I just send that guy to the hospital!"
"Ella!"
Ella let out a loud breath as she walked away.

Chun smirk as she walked away. The girl has issues and he just loved pushing her botton.

Calvin walked with Ella to her next class and Ella was complaining the whole way. Calvin didn't really listen to her. His mind kept thinking of the beautiful Hebe.....
Will he ever get a chan to talk to her?
"CALVIN CHEN are you listening to me?!" Ella snapped.
"Umm... yeah..."
"Then what did I say?!"
Calvin looked puzzled. But luckily they have reached her class.
"Ohh.. your class... I should get going." And before anyone can stop him, Calvin had already vanished.
Ella sigh as she entered the class room.

The class was filled. The only emptied desk was infront of....
THAT JERK! (it was emptied because Chun put his book there)

Ella push off his book and smirk. She sat down and played innocent.
Chun stood up and walked up behind her.
Ella only stared at her nails and ignored the stupid pig.
"Pick it up." Chun's voice was cold and stern.
Ella acted as if she heard nothing.
All the girls kept looking. Seeing Chun mad made him even more sexy!! (lol...)

Suddenly, Chun grabbed her hand and Ella looked at him.
"I said pick it up!" Chun comanded.
"Hey! You have hands too!" Ella shot back.
"Your the one to push them down!"
Ella rolled her eyes. Jerk. No... Rich Jerk!
"Are you going to pick it up or not?" Chun asked.
"Never!" Ella made a face as she pulled her hand away from his strong grip. Ella sat back down and she blocked the scary dude out of his head as the bell ring and then teacher entered the class room.

A girl handed him his books and Chun smiled at her. He knew that with just a single smile, that meant more than a thank you to her.

Chapter 3

HOME
The class is over.Hebe went in the School Garden.She sits under the big tree.Hebe saw again the cute guy in the parking lot.She just stared at him. She wish that she knows his name.After the cute guy gone. She continue reading her book. Then she heard a voice behind her.

"Hey!!!" a voice came behind her.
"Chun!!!" Hebe said.
"Class is over??" Chun asked.
"Yup!!" Hebe nodded.
"So Are we Going home now???" Chun asked.
"Sure!! It's so boring here.."She pouts.
"Boring Because You don't see your bestfriend." Chun said.
"Yup!! Selina is absent today.I hate it!!!" Hebe answered.Chun just laughed.
"Hey!!! The car is here." Chun said.Then Chun and Hebe ride on the car and drove off.

Calvin and Ella's side:
Calvin and Ella are walking home.Ella notice that Calvin was in a deep thought.

"HEY CALVIN!!!" Ella shouts.
"What?!?"Calvin annoyed.
"You are so quite.What are you thinking?" Ella asked.
"Nothing."Calvin answered.
"Ohhh Really???" Ella said.
"ohh! We are here." Calvin answered.Ignoring what Ella said.
They got home. Ella saw envelopes at their mailbox. She took it. "Bills, bills, and more bills." Ella sighed. Calvin opened the door, and stepped inside into their 2 room apartment. He looked around. The walls were dirty, and blackened. They tried to keep things as neat as they could, but the flat felt dirty and run down. Calvin sank onto the broken bed, and thought of what had happened today, trying to sort things out. While Ella went straight at the kitchen and cook some dinner. Calvin got up from his bed and went to the dining room.Ella feels the presence of her brother in the kitchen.

"Hey!! Cal we need to pay the rent tomorrow."Ella said.
"Ohh!! Yeah! But it's only our first day of work."Calvin said.
"Yeah!! But if we don't pay the rent tomorrow.For sure We gonna be kick out in this house."Ella said.
"OK!! Don't worry I will find a way to pay the rent tomorrow." Calvin said.
Then Ella served their dinner.After they eat Ella wash the dishes.And They went to sleep.

Tian's Mansion.

"Welcome Home Miss Hebe."The maid bowed.Then Hebe went straight in her room.After she change her clothes.She laid in her bed.Then she heard a knock on her door.

"Come in!!" Hebe said.Then a woman came in.She is look like in a mid 40's of age.Then Hebe was shocked to see the woman.

"OMG!!!" Hebe Exclaimed.
"How are you??" The woman asked.
"I'm Ok.Mrs.Lin I Miss you so much!!"Hebe hugged her.

Mrs.Lin is Hebe's personal maid when she was a little.

"I miss you too Hebe."Mrs.Lin said.
"Why are you here?"Hebe asked.
"Your parents called me.They told me that they are so busy.They don't know when to come back.So they want me to accompany you for the rest of the year." Mrs.Lin said.
"Ohh!"Hebe said.
"I will cook your favorite food."Mrs.Lin said.Then Mrs. Lin left her alone.
Hebe was sad because that her parents are not here to support her.But yet happy Mrs.Lin is here to accompany her.

Chapter 4

new job
"Come on Jiro.. you have to help me!" Calvin beg over the phone.
Jiro was silent. Deep in thought over the other line.
"Here.... I think I remembered this place I use to work at.... they have good pay and they pay right on the spot.
Calvin smiled and grabbed a pen.
"Tell me."
"Here... call this number and they will tell you if they have work or not."
"Okay."
"555-9483."
"Got it... thanks."
"Yeah.. anytime."
"Thanks again..."
"Hey umm.... Ella home?"
"Yeah? Why?"
"Ohh.. nothing..."
Calvin knew Jiro had a crush on his twin sister. Funny... of all people, it was Jiro who falls head over heels for her.
"Bye." Jiro blush madly on the other end as he quickly hung up.
Calvin hung up and dialed the number.

"Hello..."
"Hi... umm.. I got this number from a friend. He said that you guys have jobs open.."
"Ohh yeah. What job would you like to do?"
"Umm... any.." Calvin said.
"Okay. How about library work?"
"Sounds great!"
"Okay.... can you work today?"
"Yeah.."
"Okay... when?"
"I can be there in 20 minutes."
"Okay.. here's the address."

Calvin wrote down the adress and hung up. He smiled as Ella entered the room.
"Calvin here." She passed Calvin the plate of food.
"No time to eat. I just found a new job."
"Really?" Ella smiled.
"Yeah.. Jiro said it was good pay."
"How long will you be gone?"
"I don't really care Ella. We need the money."
Ella nod. She knew he was right.
"Okay... see ya." Calvin said as he ran out the door.

Ella sigh. Her poor brother is always working so hard to earn money.

Calvin found the place and he was amazed. It was a HUGE mansion! He was greeted by some servants who showed him his work spot. He was taken to the library where there were tons of books.
The servant wrote down the time he arrived and then left him to work.

Calvin was to file back the books in order. What a simple job. The thing was that he was getting paid a lot. He figured he should have enough to pay the rent this month if he worked hard enough.

Calvin started with the books on the cart and looked at the lable. It was just like a real library!!

Calvin was working so hard that he didn't notice the girl reading. She was sitting by the window with a book in her hand.

Calvin was on the ladder putting away a thick book when he finally realized the girl. His heart jumped faster. It was Hebe. The girl from school.... is.. is this her house?
NO WAY!! Could this be the Tian mansion?
Calvin suddenly felt let down. How could he like a girl who had everything while he had to work hard to have the little things he owned?
Calvin slapped out the thought and got back to work. It was no use daydreaming about them being together. Life is too harsh for fairytales. Calvin felt like a girl speaking of fairytales.
He smiled to himself as he came down the steps.

Hebe looked up from the book when she heard someone eles in the library. She looked around and saw the back of someone.
She stood up and place the ribbon inside her book. She walked towards the guy.

Calvin grabbed the book and looked at the code.
MILLAR. J

Calvin turned around to go put the book away only to come face to face with her.

Hebe was shocked. It was the cute guy... what was he doing here?
Hebe started to panic. She was wearing her PJs!! What about her hair? And makeup?
Her heart raced.. what does she look like? A ghost?

It was only then Hebe noticed how close she was to him. They were only a few inches apart and her heat skipped a beat.

Calvin took a step back. They both blushed as Hebe turned away.
"Sorry..." Calvin mumbled shyly.
"NO!! No.. it was me.." Hebe said.
Calvin smiled at her, melting her heart.
"I... ahh..." Calvin shook the book and Hebe smiled.
"Sorry." She mouthed and Calvin grin.

Calvin went the the M section of the library as Hebe tried to catch her breath. He was so hot!!
Wait... so now he works here? Hebe questioned. She smiled. Great! Now she could see him more often. At school is barely enough!

Calvin put the book on the shelf and lean against it. Why is it that she make him feel this way. He needs to remember who he is. He can't love a rich girl!!
CALVIN CHEN!!! YOU ARE TO WORK NOT FIND LOVE!!
Calvin thought he sounded like Ella and laughed to himself.

Chapter 5

JERK!!!
Hebe was waiting for Selina in the School garden.She saw the cute guy again."I already to talk to him but still I don't know his name." She thought. Then she saw Selina walking towards her.

"Hey!" Selina said.
"Hey!Why are you absent yesterday?" Hebe asked.
"Because I was so tired form the flight." Selina said.
"Ohhh Ok!" Hebe answered.
"Can we go to the class now." Selina said.
"YUp!"

So Hebe and Selina walking to their class.Hebe saw something about the MUSICAL PLAY.

"Selina Why don't you audition in A musical play?" Hebe asked
"What?!? Me? Audition? in a MUSICAL PLAY?" Selina said.Hebe nodded.
"No way Heb's It's not my things..." Selina said.
"But Sel it's your favorite play It's ROMEO AND JULIET." Hebe answered.
"Hebs.Even though it's my favorite. I don't think so.Why don't you try you audition?"
"What me?"
"Yup! Look Hebe you are a great actress and singer.Maybe your crush is your leading man."
"I will think about it Sel."
"OK!"
Then the bell rung.

Ella's side:

"What?"Ella exclaimed when she heard what her friend Gui Gui told at the other line of the phone. Beside her was Calvin, He looked at her with a meaningful look before shaking his head in a father-like way.

“I’m sorry, Ella. The bar, offered a very huge talent fee. We have no reason to say ‘no’ to this big offer,” GuiGui told her apologetically. She was the drummer of their all-female band, The PINK GALS, while Ella was the vocalist and lead guitarist. They stop playing in bars and cafes for almost five months now, and she had gotten really close with GuiGui and Rainie, the group’s back-up vocalist and bass guitarist.

"Ok! Gui I agree but just for tonight."
"Ok! sure. See you tonight."
Ella hanged up the phone.

"Calvin I can't go home with you right now." Ella said.
"Ok! Just go home early." Calvin said.
"Yup I will." Ella said.

That night...

Ella came with her bandmates, Rainie and GuiGui to the NIGHT LIGHT BAR.
After they finished perform. They went to the Private office of the owner of the bar.

"12,000 NT$ per gig?" Rainie asked Ken incredulously. He wants them to be a regular performer of the bar. He offered that amount of money for them to play twice a week.

Ella looked at Gui. Even though her friend didn't show her surprise, she knew how surprised Ella really is.
Ella wondered why a bar as popular as Night Light would care to hire them as a regular band and offer them such a big fee.

"That' right. The audience feedback was remarkable so I decided to have you guys perform here regularly. We'll decide about your schedule and also about the contract so" a masculine voice said

"That Jerk!," Ella said
"Why this Jerk is here?" Ella asked.
"Hey who are you calling JERK!"
"Obviously It's you!"
"I'm commanding you call me that again I going to kill you."Chun said
"JERK!!! JERK JERK!!!" Ella shouts
"YOU!!"
"Calm down guys!" Ken said separating the two.
"Can you please tell me why is this JERK is here?"
"He is my partner in this business."
"Ohh! Ok.Ken about the offer. I already decide we refuse your kind offer." What she said stunned everyone

"You want to negotiate about a bigger fee?" he asked.

"No, that's not it. Even if you offer us a bigger fee, we will still refuse."

Ella watched as frustration crawled over Rainie and GuiGui's faces.

"But why?" Ken asked again.

"We have... personal reasons, sir." Ella said finally.

Gui raised an eyebrow. 'Don't use 'we', Ella, maybe 'I' is more appropriate,' she thought to herself. She turned to see what Ken's reaction will be.

Ken just nodded his head as if he understood what Ella had said. "Well, I'm not really rushing you guys. Think about it first. Feel free to come anytime if you ever change your mind. Anyway, don't leave yet. I'm inviting you guys for free drinks."

"Thanks, but no thanks, Ken. We're kind of in a hurry."

They left his private office without any word from Rainie and GuiGui. Ella knew the two were upset.
Gui stopped Ella from walking and whispered something to her. "Ella, that's crazy. You should've asked about our opinion first."

"I know. I'm sorry!"

The fours girls halted when they saw somebody blocking their way to the door. Ella instantly felt her blood boil when she recognized that someone. It was that JERK WU CHUN 'Why is this retard blocking our way?' Nevertheless, Ella did not move to avoid him.

He greeted her, a corner of his lips twitched up in a lazy smile

She ignored him and tried to sidestep his presence. But he swiftly moved again and blocked her way. She sneered at him.

"Back off!"

Chun stood unaffected. Then he smiled and greeted the others.

To Ella's irritation, Rainie and GuiGui smiled back and greeted him too.

"I'm sorry, MR. but will you please get out of our way? We're in a hurry right now. We need to go," Gui said, trying to rescue Ella.

Chun beamed a heartstopping smile at her. That gesture of him made Gui blush and stare down. "Wow... This guy is a charmer." Her thoughts were interrupted when she felt a nudge. She looked up and saw Ella eying her intently, raising a brow. She smiled at her friend nervously. Ella rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"Get out of our way, Jerk." Ellacommanded.

"Why did you refuse my friend's offer?" he asked her, disregarding her.

"It's none of your business!"

"That's a very good offer you just turned down, I hope you'll consider it again," he muttered casually.

"Actually, we really liked the offer and--" Ella glared sharply at Rainie. The poor girl quickly shut up and looked helplessly at Chun.

"We don't like performing here. It's that simple. So get out of our way and stop wasting our time." Ella told Chun sternly.

"Why don't you like it here? Because of me?"

Ella scoffed and rolled her eyes.

She felt her eyes narrowing. Is this guy testing her patience?
"Of course not."

Chun's nodded his head. "If that's true, then accept my friend's offer," he challenged her.

"You have no right to tell me what to do. If I say no then I mean no. Now, move it!"

Chun smirked at her and she felt her top blowing off.

" please, get out of our way. I'm telling you, we people really are in a hurry, so please, step aside." It was Gui again. She knew Ella couldn't hold it any longer. Her friend's anger will explode any minute now.

"Not until you--" Chun was cut off when Ella suddenly punched him in the stomach. Lately, she had been into taekwondo to keep fit and to use against perverts and scabs. That move was one of her strongest single-handed blow.

Chun fell down on his knees and clutched his stomach. Rainie and GuiGui were shocked, Then Ella signalled them to follow her . They all got on and she saw Ella smirking.

"Why did you do THAT to him?"

"Why? He ASKED for it. I told him to get lost, but he didn't. So I taught him a lesson." Ella was about to ride in the cab. when she heard Rainie called her

"Ella, why did you do that?" Rainie asked her.

"That's right, Ella. You shouldn't have done that to him," GuiGui told her seriously.

"If he didn't block our way and pissed me off, I wouldn't have punched him." Ella told them.

"But---"

"I don't wanna talk about him anymore."

"What about Ken's offer?"

Ella sighed. "I'm sorry, guys. I can't accept the offer. Please understand."
