To mark the 10th year anniversary of the anime series of Detective Conan, the popular program is adapted into a special live-action drama this fall! The plot evolves around the two characters, Shinichi Kudo and Ran Mouri, set in the time when Shinichi is still a regular high-school student before he is poisoned by a strange man and become small Conan.
"The Letter of Challenge"
Shinichi has become a very popular student at school for his detective genius and is even receiving a lot of media coverage. But Ran, Shinichi’s childhood friend, is not too happy about this situation as she feels they are not as close as before. When Ran finds out that Shinichi is no longer interested in going to the school trip that she has been looking forward to, she becomes even more frustrated. However, the night before the trip, Shinichi receives a strange letter from someone. It says… “This is a letter of challenge to the high-school detective. During the school trip, someone in your classmate will be kidnapped. If you are able to prevent it, you win. But if you fail, I win. You will then have to give up your title as the high-school detective. KIDNAPPER”
“Hmm… sounds very interesting!” It has put Shinichi’s detective soul on fire. He now decides to go to the trip. What will happen to the battle between Shinichi and KIDNAPPER? You can expect the same scale of entertainment, mystery solving and diverse characters as the anime version of Detective Conan.
The genius high-school detective's role is played by Shun Oguri, appointed by Gosho Aoyama, the author.
